Players Will Not In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team

There will be many players that have featured in FIFA 17 but will not be returning to FIFA 18 Ultimate Team. This may be due to them retiring (meaning they could be with a chance at a FIFA 18 Legends Card ), picking up a long term injury or transferring to a team that will not be featured within the game mode. Let's take a look at the players will not in FIFA 18 ultimate team (Fifa 18 coins can purchase players and consumables and also to buy packs).

Steven Gerrard
The legend that is Steven Gerrard has retired after a short 18-month spell at LA Galaxy. He now serves as academy coach at Liverpool. It's pretty much guaranteed that at some point in the future Stevie G will receive a legend card in FUT.

Alvaro Dominguez
At only 27 years of age, Alvaro Dominguez has retired from football. After playing 120 competitive games for Atletico Madrid, the Spanish defender transferred to Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012. Unfortunately he was hampered by injuries which eventually cost him his career.

Anthony Vanden Borre
Along with Vincent Kompany, Vanden Borre was previously seen as one of the best future talents of Belgian football. The 29-year-old Belgian defender has retired from football after stating he could not focus and motivate himself.

Francesco Totti
Francesco Totti needs no introduction. The 40-year-old legend of Italian football will retire shortly. We're pretty sure the emperor of Rome will be receiving a FUT legend card in the not to distant future.

Didier Drogba
The Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend, Didier Drogba, has wound down his illustrious career at Montreal Impact and is now out of contract. However, he's willing to carry on playing football, but it seems that he may join a team that does not feature in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team. We feel a legend card is imminent!

Gueïda Fofana
Unfortunately, the former 25-year-old French footballer has decided to hang up his boots after ongoing ankle injury problems. A real shame as Fofana had been compared to Arsenal legend, Patrick Viera.

Frank Lampard
Super Frank, the all-time leading goalscorer for Chelsea with 211 goals, has decided to retire after finishing his career at New York City. Just like Gerrard, Frank Lampard needs a FUT Legend card soon!

Philip Lahm
Philip Lahm, at only 33-years-old, may be retiring soon. It's looking like Lahm won't be in FIFA 18 after he told newspapers that if he cannot retain a first team spot, then he will end his career. He's also not interested in joining a smaller team.

Roman Eremenko
Roman Eremenko, the 29-year-old Finnish / CSKA Moscow player has been banned from football for 2 years after failing a drugs test. This could spell the end of his career as it's unlikely another club will sign him after 2 years out of the game.
